Beginning of November 2020: I came home to quarantine in my house with my cats.
I left Iceland
End of October 2020: A coach journey through sun and hail and snow back to Reykjavík.
Iceland
I spent September and October 2020 at the NES artists’ residency Skagaströnd, a small fishing village in Northwest Iceland. It could be very beautiful, but was often very harsh, especially the wind, but also snow and hail and sideways rain. The harshness was sometimes frightening but could also be exhilarating. It was very strange to be so remote while so connected to friends and family through technology.
